Inauguration of Jai Tulunad (R.) Karla (Karkala) Unit Held Successfully

Karkala, January 5, 2025 :

The inauguration ceremony of the Jai Tulunad (R.) Karla (Karkala) unit was held with grandeur and cultural fervor at Hotel Mayura International, Pukkery Bypass.

The event was presided over by Uday Poonja Taripady Guttu, President of Jai Tulunad (R.). The new unit was formally inaugurated by Dr. Akashraj Jain, former office bearer of the Tulu Sahitya Academy.

 Tulu Script Bike Rally Draws Public Interest


As part of the celebration, a Tulu Script Awareness Bike Rally was organized in two phases:


Phase 1: Flagged off at 9:00 AM from Bajagoli by Hon’ble MLA V. Sunil Kumar

Phase 2: Started at 10:30 AM from Bandimatha, Karkala, and was flagged off by Congress leader Uday Kumar Shetty, Muniyalu


The rally received wide appreciation and served as a strong step toward reviving the rich heritage of the Tulu language and script.
